While working, Doctor Nina equips herself with a hair cover, which is then covered by her hazmat hoodie. In addition, she also wears goggles, a respirator, a face shield, and gloves.

Nina also wears a pair of boots, which naturally attract attention. It is rare for a doctor to wear fashionable boots while serving patients.

Before wearing the boots, Doctor Nina wraps her feet with a waterproof layer of fabric. This layer ensures safety so that the virus does not enter through the shoe stitches.

So how much does Nina have to spend on her fashionable work appearance?

"The shoes cost around Rp250,000, the respirator Rp500,000, and the hazmat suit between Rp150,000 and Rp300,000," said Nina to Merdeka.com, on Friday (24/7).

Nina admitted that the price of her custom hazmat suit became cheaper because she designed it herself. In addition, she also bought the fabric in large quantities directly from a store in Surabaya.

Nina, who has been interested in the fashion world since the beginning, then brings the following designs and her chosen fabric to her regular tailor. Therefore, the cost for her hazmat suit is still considered reasonable.

"The price for one piece of hazmat suit is around Rp300,000, including the printing," she emphasized.

Each suit requires 2 yards or approximately 190 cm of fabric, plus the design and printing. The price of the fabric varies from Rp40,000 - Rp150,000 per meter, plus the tailor's fee of Rp100,000 - Rp200,000, depending on the complexity.

"This is only a part, some are still inside and being worked on by the tailor," said Nina, showing her collection of hazmat suits and boots.

Dr. Nina admitted to having a collection of 25 custom hazmat suits, along with several pairs of boots. Some of the boots are also custom-made according to her own designs. She always combines her outfit and shoes when working.

"I like colorful things, even before the pandemic, when I practice, I go all out for fashion," said the owner of NDC Esthetical Dental Clinic.

All the accessories support her appearance while working, as well as the well-organized workspace. Her practice room is dominated by bone white color, in line with the basic color of the equipment. It becomes more vibrant with the addition of some pink accents, which is her favorite color.
