Yolla Yuliana Wants to Make Jakarta Electric PLN Number One in PLN Mobile Proliga 2024

Kapanlagi.com - Captain of Jakarta Electric PLN Women's Volleyball Team, Yolla Yuliana is determined to bring Jakarta Electric PLN back to number one in PLN Mobile Proliga 2024.

"I represent the players and individuals who previously defended Jakarta Electric PLN since 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017, and I want to bring the team's good name back to the top," said Yolla during the jersey and volleyball team launching event for Jakarta Electric PLN in PLN Mobile Proliga 2024 at the PLN Headquarters, Jakarta, Tuesday (23/4/2024).

On the other hand, the Indonesian women's national volleyball player also mentioned that volleyball is no longer just a sport, but has become entertainment for many people. According to her, this can be seen from the enthusiasm of the audience who watched Fun Volleyball on April 20, 2024.

"All sports (including volleyball) have become entertainment, so volleyball athletes are now grooming themselves on social media to attract viewers," said Yolla.

Optimistic to Reach the Finals

PLN CEO, Darmawan Prasodjo is optimistic that Jakarta Electric PLN will reach the finals in the PLN Mobile Proliga 2024 competition.

"Our hope in PLN Mobile Proliga 2024 is to at least reach the finals," he said.

Darmawan's optimism is based on the fact that they have prepared Jakarta Electric PLN for a long time, starting from physical training, teamwork, to strategies to conquer the field. He mentioned that his team has also prepared statisticians and nutrition experts for the players.

"Now we are more united, we have coaches, statisticians, and each player will be analyzed, nutrition experts. This program has continuity, because in the past, everything was like building a sand castle, but now it has been redesigned into a solid team," he said.

"I feel a sense of totality here, unity, and familiarity where a new spirit arises, because this is a new phase for Jakarta Electric PLN," explained Darmawan.

Introducing a New Face

Chairman of Jakarta Electric PLN Team, Arsyadany G.Akmalaputri revealed that volleyball is now a popular sport and has become sportainment. He mentioned that at the age of 20, Jakarta Electric PLN is presenting a new face and management.

"Now what we prioritize is collaboration with Juaraga as the maker of jerseys and logos, Satria Muda to manage and operate Jakarta Electric PLN's social media content, and Iwan Tirta," he said.

Arsyadany also explained that the Jakarta Electric PLN team has prepared everything to compete in the PLN Mobile Proliga 2024. He said, starting from practicing for two months in Cigereleng, building a strong partnership, to strengthening identity has been done.

"In addition, you also have several experienced players such as Yolla, Maya Kurnia Indri, Tisha Amalia, Nurlaeli, and foreign players filled by Katerina Zhidkova (Azerbaijan) and Indre Sorokaite (Italy)," he explained.

"We also brought in a head coach, a physical trainer, and a statistics expert to optimize the sport science approach in building the team's strength," added Arsyadany.

He is optimistic based on the composition of players and coaches who are already at the national level, Jakarta Electric PLN can enter the final four.
