One of those who may have lost someone dear is Rey Bong, the main actor in the soap opera DARI JENDELA SMP. Rey Bong wrote his condolences on his Instagram story.

"Rest in peace, uncle," he wrote while uploading a photo of the late Hilman.

The name Hilman is widely known as the author of the Lupus book series. The book has been published with various titles and colored the days of teenagers in the 90s era. Lupus itself was made into a soap opera from 1999 to 2001.

In addition to Lupus, Hilman also wrote the Olga, Vanya, and Ghost Family series. Not only writing books, Hilman also became a soap opera story writer. DARI JENDELA SMP is one of them.

In addition to DARI JENDELA SMP, Hilman previously wrote the stories of several successful soap operas. Among them are CINTA FITRI, MELATI UNTUK MARVEL, CATATAN HATI SEORANG ISTRI, BADAI PASTI BERLALU, and ANAK JALANAN.

Hilman passed away at the age of 57. According to the testimony of his friend, actor Tengku Firmansyah, the cause of his passing was complications.

"I received news that Mas Hilman passed away this morning due to liver problems. His liver had previously recovered, but relapsed and now there are complications. Eventually, his immune system couldn't fight the disease," said Tengku, who was met at the funeral home in the Bintaro area, South Tangerang.
