Sinetron Ikatan Cinta Receives Award from Minister of Economy Airlangga Hartarto

Kapanlagi.com - The soap opera Ikatan Cinta produced by MNC Pictures has once again set a new record. This time, the soap opera starring Arya Saloka and Amanda Manopo has received an award as the "Most Watched and Entertaining TV Program During the Pandemic."

The award was presented by the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenko Perekonomian RI), Airlangga Hartarto, on Thursday (1/7/2021).

Airlangga stated that he appreciates the creativity of the soap opera Ikatan Cinta during the Covid-19 pandemic. He also expressed that this is not an ordinary thing.

1. How to Face the Pandemic

Especially amidst the many parties seeking ways to face the current pandemic.

"This is not something easy, various associations including artists and workers have met with me at the office of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs to discuss about artists, directors, and workers in the arts industry who all expect government support during this 1.5 years we have been running in the midst of this pandemic," said Airlangga in a press release received by Kapanlagi.com at the event on Thursday (1/7/2021).

Executive Chairman of MNC Group, Hary Tanoesoedibjo, also expressed his happiness and pride in the achievement of the soap opera Ikatan Cinta. Moreover, according to him, the soap opera has been able to withstand the onslaught of competition and the pandemic.

"Today, we are happy and proud that the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia has been pleased to give an award to the soap opera Ikatan Cinta, because it has the largest audience base and entertains the Indonesian people amidst a pandemic where many people feel anxious, panicked, stressed, and entertained of course by this soap opera," explained Hary Tanoesoedibjo in the same place.

2. Attended by the Minister of Industry

During the award ceremony held at RCTI+ Kebon Jeruk Studio, Jakarta, the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, and the cast of Ikatan Cinta, including Amanda Manopo, Arya Saloka, Glenca Chysara, and Evan Sanders, were also present.

"Thank God this award can be trusted again. This means that in the future, we must maintain and improve our abilities," said Arya Saloka with a smile.

3. Achieving a Record

The drama series Ikatan Cinta has achieved high ratings and audience share, with an average of 12.8% and 47.3% respectively from January to June 29, 2021.

Ikatan Cinta premiered on October 19, 2020, and recently set a new record in its programming performance by reaching a rating of 15.4% and an audience share of 54.5% on June 20, 2021.
