Desta's Name is Involved in Alleged Immoral Case at PPLN Den Haag, This is What KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari Says

Kapanlagi.com - Name Deddy Mahendra or better known as Desta suddenly became a topic of conversation due to alleged involvement in a sexual misconduct case that implicated the Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU), Hasyim Asy'ari. Because of this, Desta was summoned to the Election Organizer Honor Council (DKPP) on Wednesday (22/5), but did not attend and was represented by the Chief Editor of NET TV. Regarding this matter, the Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) of Indonesia, Hasyim Asy'ari, also spoke up. Hasyim himself, who is the accused in the case of alleged sexual misconduct against a member of the Overseas Election Committee (PPLN) in The Hague, Netherlands, stated that the reason for summoning Desta in this case was to provide testimony about a birthday greeting. Hasyim also mentioned that he was accused of requesting a birthday greeting from Desta to be given to the victim. The recorded video is then considered by the victim's party as an attempt to seduce.

When asked further, Hasyim stated that these were the allegations against him. However, all of these accusations were directly denied during the trial. When asked further about the denial, Hasyim unfortunately refused to disclose it. This is because the trial on the immoral case is held in closed session, therefore the trial material cannot be consumed by the public.
