Kapanlagi.com - The Jakarta Bar Association's Honorary Council of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) recently held a verdict hearing on Hotma Sitompul's complaint against Hotman Paris Hutapea. Hotman was accused of violating the code of ethics while representing Desiree Tarigan, the mother of Bams from the former band Samsons, on Wednesday (29/9/2021).In the virtual trial, Hotman Paris as the defendant was found not guilty of the complaint of ethical violations filed by Hotma Sitompul. There were two alleged violations committed by Hotman Paris. First, Hotma Sitompul's complaint against Hotman Paris regarding the violation of the advocate's code of ethics. And second, Hotman Paris's complaint against several lawyers representing Hotma Sitompul, namely Partahi Sihombing, Muara Karta, and Tommy Sihotang. They were the ones handling the case between Hotma Sitompul and his wife, Desiree Tarigan.
