Her younger sibling, Baginda Sanjaya, reported that the late sister died due to breast cancer that she had been suffering from since 2021. The cancer caused complications in her heart and lungs. A number of artists who were also friends of the deceased came to pay their respects at the funeral home, one of whom was singer Nia Daniaty. Nia shed tears while reminiscing about her friend during her lifetime.
