Kapanlagi.com - KLovers,The supreme leader of the Catholic Church worldwide, Pope Francis, visited Indonesia as part of his 12-day tour of the Asia-Pacific region. Jakarta was the starting point of the Pope's visit before heading to Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste, and Singapore. He arrived in Indonesia on September 3, 2024, at 11:30 AM WIB on a commercial flight. Not only that, Pope Francis also did not want anything excessive related to his visit, so he requested a regular car used by the public and not a bulletproof one. Upon arriving at Soekarno-Hatta airport, the Holy Father did not stay at a luxury hotel but went directly to the Vatican Embassy for Indonesia in the Gambir area, Central Jakarta. The reason is that he wanted to stay in a place that has a similar atmosphere to his residence. His simplicity serves as an example that a leader should have an inclusive relationship with his people, not an exclusive one.
