Actress Kuljeet Randhawa was found dead in her home on February 8, 2006. Kuljeet hanged herself in the apartment she occupied in the Juhu area of Mumbai.

After her death, it was revealed that Kuljeet was suffering from depression. She couldn't handle the pressures of life and decided to end it at the age of 30.

2. Pratyusha Banerjee

Television star actress Pratyusha Banerjee committed suicide by hanging herself on April 1, 2016. Prior to ending her life, Pratyusha was known to be suffering from depression due to work pressure and relationship issues.

When her financial condition worsened and she couldn't find much work, Pratyusha turned to alcohol. Later, her problems with her live-in partner worsened, leading Pratyusha to take the drastic step of hanging herself in her apartment.

3. Kushal Punjabi

Actor Kushal Punjabi ended his life at the age of 42. He hanged himself on December 26, 2019, leaving behind a beloved child.

Kushal suffered from depression because he couldn't meet his child who lived with his ex-wife in China. His career in Bollywood was also not going smoothly, adding to his mental burden.

4. Preksha Mehta

Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, which has also affected the entertainment industry in India with lockdowns, actress Preksha Mehta was stressed. She was worried about her future in Tellywood, especially since she wasn't getting many job offers recently.

Without leaving a message, Preksha Mehta chose to end her own life on May 25. She passed away at the age of 25 in Indore, her parents' second home.

6. Sushant Singh Rajput

The departure of Sushant Singh Rajput was very shocking to many people. No one knew that for the past 6 months, Sushant had been experiencing depression and allegedly due to professional competition.

Sushant hanged himself in his apartment in the Bandra area of Mumbai on Sunday, (14/6) last week. He took his last breath at the age of 34 and his body has now been cremated by his family.

Sushant's death has shocked the public and now the Indian community hopes that there will be no more suicide cases due to depression like Sushant and many other celebrities. Sushant's death is an alarm, that the Bollywood and Tellywood industries do not have a healthy atmosphere.
