1. Wake Up Early

Sushant Singh Rajput is known as someone who is accustomed to waking up early. He wakes up between 06.00 - 06.30, and on that unfortunate morning, Sushant woke up as usual.

After waking up, Sushant leaves the room and does some activities. He remains the same until around 09.30 local time.

2. Drink Juice

Around 09.30, Sushant drinks pomegranate juice made by his cook. Nothing strange happened until this point.

After that, he enters his room and locks it from the inside. The cook doesn't suspect anything and continues with his work.

3. Cook Offers Menu

Around 10.30, the cook calls Sushant inside the room. He offers the actor to choose what he wants to eat for lunch. However, Sushant doesn't give an answer.

The cook then stops knocking and tries again at 11.00 - 11.30 in the afternoon. He knocks on the door several times, but Sushant still doesn't respond. The cook then calls Sushant's phone, but it is also not answered.

4. Sushant's Brother's Phone Call to the Cook

Concerned about Sushant's condition inside the room, the cook called the actor's brother who also lives in Mumbai. The actor's brother arrived around 13:00 and they tried to contact Sushant.

As the door was not being opened, Sushant's brother called the locksmith. They called around 13:15 and the locksmith arrived at 13:30.

5. Found Hanging

After the locksmith arrived and they were able to enter the room, Sushant was found hanging from the ceiling. He had tied his neck with a green kurta.

When found, Sushant was already dead. The cook cut the fabric that was tying Sushant's neck with a knife and they lowered the actor's body.

6. Body Taken to Hospital

After finding his brother's body, Sushant's younger sibling quickly called an ambulance from the hospital, and the personnel came to evacuate the body. The late Sushant was then taken to the hospital for autopsy.

Several personnel were seen carrying Sushant's body from his apartment. The building's courtyard was briefly crowded with local residents who mourned the actor's death.

7. Depression

After conducting an examination, the police confirmed that Sushant's death was purely due to suicide. The 34-year-old actor decided to end his own life because he suffered from depression.

Sushant had been diagnosed with depression for about 5-6 months and was prescribed medication. However, on the morning before his suicide, Sushant did not take the prescribed antidepressant medication.
