The news was announced by the film star KAL HO NAA HO through her personal Instagram account, @realpz. Full of joy, Preity and her husband, Gene Goodenough, announced that their first child has been born.
"Hello everyone. Today I want to share some exciting news with all of you. Gene and I are happy and our hearts are filled with gratitude as we welcome our twin children, Jai Zinta Goodenough & Gia Zinta Goodenough," writes Preity.

The birth of these actress' twin babies was done through the method of a surrogate mother. Preity also expresses her gratitude to the surrogate mother who carried her and Gene's precious fruits of love.
"We are very excited to welcome this new phase in our lives. From the bottom of our hearts, we sincerely thank the doctors, nurses, and surrogate mother who have been a part of this precious journey. Much love and light - Gene, Preity, Jai & Gia," writes Preity.
