Salman Khan Reveals He Suffers from Brain Aneurysm and Discusses Reasons for Not Wanting to Marry

Salman Khan openly revealed that he is currently struggling against several serious illnesses. Among them are trigeminal neuralgia, a brain aneurysm, and arteriovenous malformation (AVM). Although he appears strong on the outside, the reality is that this actor continues to work amidst pain and serious threats to his health.

In his conversation with Kapil Sharma, Salman answered questions about marriage by discussing his concerns about wealth and the possibility of divorce. He stated that at his current age, losing half of his wealth due to divorce would be very difficult, especially if he had to start over again.

“I am facing all of this. And if at some point their (wives') mood changes, they can take half of what I have. If this happens when I am still young, it might be okay, I can still look for more. But now, I have to start from scratch again...” said Salman as reported by NDTV.com.

In the midst of jokes, Salman slipped in a serious statement about his condition. “Every day it feels like I am breaking my own bones. A rib is broken, still working despite having trigeminal neuralgia, there is an aneurysm in the brain, still working. There is also an AV malformation, and I keep going,” he said.

The trigeminal neuralgia disease itself was first revealed by Salman back in 2017 during the promotion of the movie Tubelight in Dubai. This disease affects the facial nerves and causes extreme pain even from just touching the face, chewing, or brushing teeth. Due to the intensity of the pain, this disease is often dubbed the “suicide disease”.

In addition, Salman also suffers from a brain aneurysm, which is a dilation of blood vessels that can rupture at any time and cause bleeding in the brain. If not detected early and treated properly, this condition can be life-threatening.

Not only that, he also has AVM or arteriovenous malformation, which is an abnormality in the blood vessels that can disrupt normal blood flow. AVM can pose a risk of stroke or other neurological disorders if not properly managed.Despite facing various serious health issues, Salman Khan continues to show high spirit and dedication to his work.
