Singer Citra Scholastika openly admitted that she still has no desire to get married in the near future. Even though in 2024, she will turn 30 years old.
When met in the Pasar Minggu area, South Jakarta, on Monday (25/12), Citra said that her extended family has indeed questioned her about it.
Although frequently asked, this 29-year-old woman chooses not to respond much because she still has other desires that have not been achieved.
Not only that, Citra also admitted that maybe her process is not the same as most women. She also explained that there are still many things in her life that need to be organized
"Yes, the question I hear again this year is true. In 2024, I will be 30 years old, so it's a question of when and when. But my life path is not like the life path of women in general. How they go to school, work, and so on," said Citra Scholastika.
"I worked first before having time for school, socializing, and vacation when people were on vacation from childhood, I was an adult. Because the process of life is different and unique and messy, I am currently trying to organize," she continued.
However, when asked further, Citra admitted that she is currently still in a romantic relationship with her lover. However, as for marriage plans, so far it has not crossed her mind.
"Basically, I choose not to get married yet. If asked if I already have a partner, I do. But wanting to get married is not something I will consider in the near future," she said.
This singer, who was a finalist of Indonesian Idol season six, emphasized that she may not be ready for married life. Fortunately, her lover does not have a problem with this because they both have the same vision, mission, and perspective on married life.
"Until now, I have started thinking about being ready to have children, being a mother, and a wife. That is a critical thought and carefully considered. Even for marriage, I am still not ready," she explained.
"I really like my partner, we both have the same vision and mission, the way we see the world of work and family is the same, so I have full support to convince when we are ready and have to wait," she said.
