Billy Syahputra is trying his luck in the business world. This 32-year-old man opened a seblak business called Boci Nyeblak Prasmanan. Billy's decision to enter the culinary business is not unrelated to the criticism he has received from netizens lately. Billy feels that his popularity in the entertainment world is closely related to the big name of his late brother, Olga Syahputra.
"Finally, I thought to myself, 'yes, because of Olga, and I agreed'. Instead of getting confused, I just decided to do this. I said, I'm leaving the entertainment world, changing professions, until I came up with an idea and made it happen," said Billy Syahputra when met in Pondok Kelapa area, East Jakarta, Sunday (24/12/2023).
From there, Billy firmly decided to open a business called Seblak Boci Nyeblak Prasmanan. Moreover, the desire to start a business is truly driven by his heart.
"The point is, everything I do, I do it from my heart and my own desire. Even though it's a seblak business, I want it to be from the heart," said Billy.
This business is the first step for Billy to prepare for retirement from the entertainment industry.
Billy realizes that the entertainment industry is full of dynamics and will not last forever.
"So everything has to be prepared, because it's common in the entertainment world that things won't last forever," he said.
However, Billy remains open to job offers in television or the entertainment industry if the opportunity arises.
"If it continues, then continue (on TV). If there is a time limit, then we will switch to being entrepreneurs," he concluded.
