Rizky Billar Makes Lesti Kejora Cry When Reading the Lyrics of the Song 'Menyerah' for the First Time

Kapanlagi.com - Lesti Kejora and her husband Rizky Billar collaborated with Mom Uung to release a song titled 'Menyerah' dedicated to breastfeeding mothers. Rizky Billar also shared the process of creating the song. Despite the minimal preparation, Rizky Billar expressed his happiness in being able to create a song with inspirational lyrics.

"This is my first collaboration in producing a song with limited time. I'm really happy to be invited here because otherwise, I wouldn't be able to create an inspirational song like this," said Rizky Billar when met in Pejaten, South Jakarta some time ago.

Because he had difficulty writing the lyrics, Rizky Billar admitted to staying up all night. However, he was able to finish the song and the result was as he had hoped.

"The lyrics were somewhat complex, I had difficulty continuing to the next lyrics. I stayed up all night H-1 (deadline) looking for the next sentence until suddenly at 5 am I came up with something and it flowed smoothly. It only took an hour. I wonder where the inspiration came from, honestly, it's based on my own experiences but I'm sure you have also experienced feeling at your lowest point," said Rizky Billar.

In fact, the song created by Rizky Billar managed to make Lesti Kejora cry when she first read the lyrics. Rizky Billar feels grateful because his wife always supports and appreciates all of his works.

"I'm still learning to be a composer, and I'm grateful to have a singer by my side. When she heard the demo, she immediately cried. It was actually Lesti who was more touched. She was the first person to be so enthusiastic and moved. She really supports me, personally I feel that if I'm not with her, I would never be able to make a song," he said.

3. Lesti Kejora's Tears Flow Unnoticed

Lesti Kejora admitted that when she first read the lyrics, her tears flowed unnoticed because she felt deeply touched. She hopes that this song can be accepted by the entire community.

"So before the demo, I was asked to sing and read the lyrics by my brother (Billar). At 9 in the morning, he woke me up and said 'dear, the song is done', when I read the lyrics, tears flowed without me realizing it, it's good. Hopefully, the Indonesian people will accept the song. Even though the target is nursing mothers, but this song is not only for them, it's for everyone. The lowest point is not just as a mother. But for people who are broken," Lesti Kejora concluded.
