Perhaps many of you are still unfamiliar. This beautiful girl is Intan Wisni, Indonesia's representative at the Miss Eco International 2021 event.

Intan's participation in the event apparently brought about a number of controversies, one of which was when she answered a question from the jury.

So, Intan was asked about the topic of illegal immigration. Interestingly, Intan asked for a translator to help her interpret the answer. So, Intan answered in Indonesian.

Although answering in Indonesian, Intan did appear somewhat hesitant and less knowledgeable about the topic. And this is what the public eventually highlighted.

Intan is aware that she is currently being talked about and heavily criticized. She then speaks up.

In a circulating clarification video, Intan apologizes to the Indonesian public if her answer was not optimal. She also explains the reason why she asked for a translator's help.

According to Intan, she was very nervous because at that time she was already in the top 10. In order to answer smoothly, she wanted to answer in Indonesian. However, it turned out that the topic assigned to her was quite difficult.

Intan herself admits that she doesn't care if she is heavily criticized. She still feels proud because she has received words of 'congratulations' and 'mother's proud' from her mother. That's the only thing that keeps her moving on.
