This is the new idol figure born from the Indonesian Idol music competition season 11, Rimar Callista. He is from South Tangerang and is now 24 years old.
In the grand final round, Rimar successfully defeated Mark Natama. He performed 4 songs, including 'Terlalu Manis', 'Panah Asmara', 'To The Bone', and 'Waktu & Perhatian'.
As the champion of Indonesian Idol, Rimar Callista is entitled to bring home a cash prize of Rp 150 million and also a car.
Before becoming the champion of Indonesian Idol, Rimar apparently participated in The Voice Indonesia 2016. He was in Kaka Slank's team, but was eliminated in the Knock Out round.
After being eliminated from The Voice Indonesia, Rimar released 2 solo singles titled 'Cinta & Pesona' in 2017, followed by 'Perantara' in 2019.
In 2015, Rimar was one of the finalists and represented Indonesia in the ASEAN 'Be Our Rock & Pop Soul' music competition held in Vietnam.
In addition, Rimar also collaborated with a singer from Kazakhstan named Dimash Kudaibergen at Dimash's solo concert held in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2019.
Prior to becoming the champion of Indonesian Idol, Rimar was already popular on Youtube, Instagram, and even TikTok.
Since childhood, Rimar has often participated in singing competitions, including the Festival and National Student Art Competition (FLS2N) in 2013. And not only can she sing, she is also skilled in playing the piano.
