Cinta Laura Kiehl was introduced directly by the organizing committee of the FIBA World Cup in Indonesia, which will be held at the GBK Arena, Central Jakarta in August 2023.

The appointment of Cinta Laura as the BA FIBA apparently sparked pros and cons in society, especially among basketball fans who are still unsure of Cinta's abilities.

"I don't need many words from me, because when I was in school until high school, I played basketball in division 1 until when I moved to New York, I still played basketball with people I didn't know," she said.

Being appointed as the BA FIBA and being part of the FIBA World Cup Indonesia event certainly makes Cinta Laura happy and proud.

For this 29-year-old woman, she always considers an athlete as a national hero. And what she is doing now is one form of support for the heroes who will compete in the FIBA World Cup.

Moreover, Indonesia now also has a basketball arena or stadium that is not inferior in grandeur and sophistication to other countries.

"Hopefully, by starting as the host for such a big event, this Basketball World Cup will motivate our country's athletes in the future to work harder, so that someday our athletes will compete in FIBA," he said.
