Jae was born in 1994 in Ottawa, Ontario, into a Christian family.
Jae admitted that he received guidance after being recited Surah Maryam by one of his friends.
Since then, Jae felt a deep spiritual connection within himself, to Islam and to Allah.
At the age of 15, Jae finally decided to convert to Islam, even though his decision was strongly opposed by his family.
After officially becoming a Muslim, Jae became more enthusiastic about learning Islam, whether it was from university classes or various other religious events.
Not stopping there, Jae even seriously studied the Quran, even copying all 30 juz.
The story of Jae immediately became a topic of discussion in various mass media around the world. Including Indonesia.
Jae himself is still actively pursuing a career as a musician. Even his works now convey a positive call that Islam is a beautiful religion.
