Verrell's performance has received widespread attention after he advocated for the allowances for honorary teachers, which were eventually realized by the Minister of Defense, Prabowo Subianto. This issue was raised by Verrell on October 24 and has now yielded results.

“From October to February, there have been dozens of meetings held with partners. Some of my efforts can also be seen on my social media. Starting from the increase in allowances for honorary teachers, which I raised on October 24. And thank God, it was realized by Mr. Prabowo,” he explained.

Not only that, Verrell is also actively voicing other issues in the education sector. One of his main concerns is the performance allowance for lecturers (Tukin) that has been overdue since 2020. He is also fighting to ensure the fate of recipients of the Indonesia Maju Scholarship Batch 4 who are at risk of being neglected due to a lack of coordination.

“Currently, I am also fighting for the aspirations of the lecturer's performance allowance that has not been disbursed since 2020. This is related to the recipients of the Indonesia Maju Scholarship Batch 4 who are at risk of being neglected. And also regarding our athletes who lack training,” added Verrell.

The issue of athlete training has also become one of Verrell's main focuses during his tenure in Commission X. He often holds hearings with various sports branches to ensure that athlete training is carried out more effectively. Verrell is also actively promoting the naturalization program for football players to enhance the performance of the Indonesian national team in international competitions.

“As a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, I want to make meaningful changes, including in the field of sports. We need to provide more support for athletes so they can compete at a global level,” he said.

In addition, Verrell also plays a role in international diplomacy. He attended several work visits to Bangkok, Egypt, and Malaysia to advocate for the rights and health of Indonesian citizens studying abroad. Not only that, but he is also actively visiting 3T areas (underdeveloped, frontier, outermost) such as NTB to ensure that educational needs in those regions are met.

In his performance report, Verrell recorded 50 visits to the electoral district (Dapil) Jabar VII within a two-month period. One of his flagship programs is the development of early childhood education (PAUD) and educational infrastructure in the area. This initiative has received appreciation from the local community who feel the direct impact of his hard work.

In addition to focusing on substantive programs, Verrell also wants to change the image of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) to be more positive, especially in the eyes of the younger generation. He believes that his involvement as a young politician can inspire Generation Z and millennials to be more concerned about the political world.

"My goal is not only to work for the people, but also to improve the image of the Indonesian Parliament. I want the younger generation to see that politics can be a tool for bringing about change, not just a platform for image building," concluded Verrell.
