A surprising news recently emerged from Anji. The Indonesian musician and former vocalist of Drive Band was recently arrested by the police for a drug case.
Officially declared as a suspect of drug abuse, a recent police press conference was held regarding the arrest of Anji. In that moment, Anji was seen wearing prisoner clothes.
On Wednesday (16/6), the police held a press conference on Anji's drug arrest case.
The press conference held at West Jakarta Police Station was attended by colleagues from the media.
As known, Anji himself was arrested in the Cibubur area, East Jakarta, on June 11, 2021.
After undergoing various examinations, it was proven that Anji consumed marijuana.
At the arrest press conference, Anji appeared wearing a green-red prisoner outfit.
The police also showed various pieces of evidence that they found.
As known, the police found evidence of marijuana during Anji's arrest.
There is also other evidence that the police successfully secured in the case.
In front of the media, Anji briefly commented on his arrest. He apologized to all parties who felt disappointed by his actions.
"Good afternoon, I'm Anji and I would like to convey my apology to my family, relatives, friends, colleagues, and those who have believed in me, as well as the entire Indonesian community who are disappointed by this incident," he said.
Anji also explained that he will continue to cooperate and follow the rules that exist during this case.
