Ruben Onsu fell in love with Sarwendah first. At that time, Sarwendah was at the peak of her career with Cherry Belle, while Ruben's name was starting to rise. 

As a celebrity, Sarwendah apparently rejected Ruben Onsu's declaration of love four times. At that time, Sarwendah still didn't know Ruben's background.

Shortly after giving birth to their second daughter, Ruben and Sarwendah decided to adopt a child, named Betrand Peto. Currently, Betrand is 18 years old.
