On Monday, June 21, 2021, Rian was seen visiting the Jakarta Metro Police accompanied by his friends and legal counsel.

For Rian, the circulating issue of sexual harassment is very disturbing to him and his family.

Rian D'Masiv also admitted that the invitation to meet from the accusing party is indeed true, but Rian denies having committed the harassment.

"So yesterday they invited me to meet at a place that I felt was unsafe. They invited me, I said I wanted one of my friends to accompany me no matter what because I also have to protect myself because I don't want anything to happen to me. But they were not allowed to bring my assistant or my friend, so in the end I didn't come because I felt it was no longer safe for me," he said.

Rian also openly mentioned his wife who was harassed because of the false news. Nevertheless, fortunately, amidst the onslaught of unpleasant rumors, Rian D'Masiv received support from his family.

"I was also threatened by my wife, but thank God I said, let's work together, I also told my wife to pray for me. So, thank God my wife is behind me and my relatives are with me, this is my legal power, for me I have to do what I have done now," he added.

Rian admitted that his feelings are mixed at the moment, considering that his child has grown up and knows about this issue. He doesn't want his family to be destroyed because of this negative news.

"What I regret is that I have a child too, my child is already grown up and sees the news, so honestly I am very sad," he said.

Rian admitted that he had invited the party who accused him to meet at the police station for mediation. However, he did not receive an answer after waiting.

"I asked earlier, at half past one in the afternoon I was already at the Metro Police but there was no answer, instead they marked it as read. My WhatsApp messages to them were not received. We waited until three o'clock, they didn't come, we waited until four o'clock, they didn't come," he said.

Eventually, Rian D Masiv decided to report this case as defamation.

He admitted to being truly saddened by the various impacts caused by the emergence of the sexual harassment accusations against him.

"Until finally, at five o'clock in the afternoon, we tried to make a police report, and why do I have to do this? Honestly, I am very sad about the news material that often insults, it really surprised me. One thing that I didn't do but was exaggerated," he concluded.
