Moreover, after getting married, Inge became a housewife and had no income at all. That's why, for the past 17 years, Inge has referred to herself as serving Ari.

"If there is a prenuptial agreement, before getting married, there is a separation of assets and there is a provision that there is no joint property," said Petrus Bala Pettyona, Inge's lawyer, after a hearing at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday (29/5/2023).

"Ideally, both should have an income, but if one is devoted and the other is making money and the money is for him. And after serving for so long, the money is separated," added Petrus.

"Now Mr. Ari says that separating assets is good, yes it is good if he fails and does not disturb his wife's assets, now he has no business, it's different if he buys assets in someone else's name. But if Mr. Ari uses the separation of assets to protect his wife's children, now they are not protected," he continued. 

During his marriage to Inge, Ari is said by Petrus to have always bought properties like houses and others using his own name. None of them were bought in Inge Anugrah's name.

Meanwhile, Inge is still living in an apartment owned by Ari while waiting for the house that Ari is renovating. That's why Inge is now looking for a boarding house that she will live in later because Ari doesn't allow her to live in the renovated house.

"Only serving for 17 years, sincere dedication gave birth to 2 children who will live in a boarding house while Mr. Ari has 3 apartments, 1 luxury house and others," said Petrus.

"According to Ari, after the renovated house is finished (they move), they will move, so he said I don't need to because it's a new memory in a new house. When they move, I move to a place that I have already found," Inge concluded.
