3 Weeks Treated at Wisma Atlet, Aliff Alli's Condition Worsens after Contracting Covid-19

Kapanlagi.com - Malaysian actor, Aliff Alli is currently undergoing treatment at Wisma Atlet after testing positive for Covid-19 since December 2020. His lawyer, Asgar Sjarfi, stated that his client's condition is critical.

"Still critical. Usually, it's over in 14 days, but after 14 days, it's getting worse, he's critical," said Asgar Sjarfi when met at the Central Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (6/1).

1. Having Underlying Diseases

Asgar Sjarfi explained that Aliff Alli's condition has worsened since entering the third week of isolation at Wisma Atlet. The cause is because he has underlying diseases and is stressed facing the case with Aska Ongi.

"After three weeks, he immediately became critical because he has underlying diseases and is mentally down due to the reports from Ms. Aska," he said.

"How many times we were summoned by the police, how many times we were called for reports (by Aska Ongi), this made Mr. Aliff mentally down, he became depressed," he continued.

2. Finding Referral Hospitals

Not only that, because his condition has not improved, Aliff Alli has to use a breathing aid, an oxygen tube. He plans to be transferred to a referral hospital because the medical equipment at Wisma Atlet is inadequate.

"From Wisma Atlet, we heard that they don't have the supporting equipment, so Mr. Aliff has to move. Still at Wisma Atlet, we are still looking for a hospital that is a referral," he concluded.
