During my 40-year career, Mama Uthe admitted to experiencing ups and downs. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she experienced a lack of jobs. This is also felt by other singers.

Mama Uthe feels grateful because during decades of making music, she has never felt bored of singing.

"There is none, I am really grateful for this job. It can be a remedy and therapy for myself, because our job is our hobby," said Mama Uthe.

In addition, Mama Uthe's success in the Indonesian music industry is inseparable from the support of her beloved husband, Jeffry Waworuntu.

"It's very significant, I can be confident, I can survive until this moment all because of Jeffry Waworuntu, I used to lack confidence and I used to be insecure. He made me not feel insecure because he is an MC, I got free education from an MC," she said.

"He always reassures me, saying 'you can do it, you are beautiful, you are smart', he boosts my self-confidence. That's what matters, because we all need to be confident. People will find it difficult to watch if we lack confidence and hesitate," she concluded.
