50 Years of Living with Wife, Anwar Fuadi: Actually I Want to Reach 70 Years

His wife passed away on Sunday (18/7) at around 04.40 AM at Ciputra Hospital, West Jakarta after 4 days of treatment due to being exposed to the Covid-19 virus.

"Alhamdulillah, it has been more than 50 years, even though I wanted to reach 60 or 70 years, but that's my desire, Allah has His own secret," he said after the funeral at the Al Ma'arif Wakaf Cemetery Foundation, Tangerang, on Sunday (18/7).

"So everything has its own wisdom. We cannot live forever, reaching 50 years of marriage is already extraordinary, very extraordinary," Anwar Fuadi continued.

1. History of Kidney Disease

Indeed, it is said that the late Anwar Fuady had a history of kidney failure. His late wife had been undergoing dialysis for more than 3 years.

"Alhamdulillah, I actually, maybe God also took pity on him, tired of undergoing dialysis for 3 years at such an age, especially since he loved his children and grandchildren very much, he paid attention to everything for him. My wife was extraordinary, she accompanied me, yes, I know I am an artist with a lot of news about this, but she was always patient and believed," said Anwar Fuady.

2. Sincere

Therefore, Anwar Fuady admitted that he is sincere about the departure of the person he loved very much. He prays that his wife will receive the best place there.

"I pray to Allah that all of her mistakes, whether intentional or unintentional, will be forgiven by the Almighty Allah. I beg you, O Allah, keep her away from the torment of the grave and let the breeze of heaven blow upon her," he concluded.
