Wardatina Mawa finally spoke out regarding the issue of the Rp500 thousand alimony reportedly given by Insanul Fahmi. This news had sparked public uproar amid their ongoing divorce process at the Lubuk Pakam Religious Court.
"I don't really know where that information came from," said Wardatina Mawa when met in the area of Jendral Gatot Subroto, Jakarta, some time ago.
This mother of one is reluctant to make an issue out of the amount circulating in various reports. She chooses not to have high expectations regarding the future support from her ex-husband.
"It's just that, whatever it is, it's okay. I don't expect much. So I just want to fight for myself," she said.
Mawa still feels grateful for the financial assistance that she has been receiving. She maintains her stance by not making negative statements about the father of her child.
"Yes, Alhamdulillah, there is. I don't want to speak ill, just Alhamdulillah, there is a lot to be grateful for," she said.
This case began with Mawa's divorce lawsuit accompanied by a demand for child support of Rp25 million to Rp30 million per month. In addition, she also demanded iddah support of Rp100 million and mut'ah in the form of gold weighing 45 grams.
The party of Insanul Fahmi reportedly feels burdened by the entire amount of the claim submitted by Mawa. Currently, the panel of judges is still processing the hearing to determine the final decision regarding the amount of alimony.
