6-Year-Old Singer, Annisa Dalimunthe Trusted as a Special Performance at Indonesia Fashion Runway

Performing in front of thousands of spectators and creative industry players, Annisa expressed that her feelings were filled with happiness and pride. Her interest in participating in IFR was not without reason. Annisa mentioned that this opportunity serves as a space for her to support the works of the nation's children while also training her character from an early age.

"What interests me is the opportunity to participate and support local designers as the main goal. Furthermore, the opportunity to continue training myself to be more confident and brave is the second goal. This is a foundation for character to face a brighter future," said Annisa.

1. Trust and Preparation of Annisa

The trust given to her did not come easily. According to Annisa, appearing at IFR went through a curation and assessment process from the organizers. Therefore, being chosen at the age of 6 is a great responsibility that she wants to continue to uphold.

In terms of preparation, Annisa admitted to going through everything quite relaxed. "The preparation is generally more relaxed because I already have experience from fashion shows, and for singing, since it’s my own song, I have practiced it often," she said.

This year's IFR event feels even more special because it is held inside the Mandiri Museum, making it the first fashion show in Indonesia to take place in a museum space, a concept that is more commonly found in European countries. For Annisa, performing in such a historic location provided a very memorable experience.

Moreover, she not only sang on stage but also had the opportunity to do a catwalk alongside several renowned national designers such as Athan Siahaan, Dewi Marda & Kombas, Henjule Collection, and M. Rizky J.

In one event, Annisa had to take on two roles simultaneously as a singer and a catwalk model. However, she is grateful that everything went smoothly thanks to a well-organized schedule. "I sang at the opening, then my fashion show was in the second parade about two hours later. So the transition was smoother, and everything went well, alhamdulillah," she revealed.

3. Spread Positive Messages Through 'Anugerah Terindah'

In that performance, Annisa presented her own song titled Anugerah Terindah, a work by the renowned Indonesian producer and composer, Posan Tobing. This song was chosen because it contains a simple yet profound message, while also serving as a reminder of the importance of having children's songs that are relevant to the times.

Through this song, Annisa wants to present a work that is light, positive, and builds children's character from an early age. The message she wants to convey is not just mere entertainment. Annisa hopes her performance can bring values of unity and love within the family.

"The message I want to convey is unity and togetherness as the Indonesian nation that upholds Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, including nurturing love between children and parents. Because to become a great nation, it usually starts from a happy and loving family," she explained.

Since its official release in Jakarta last month, the song Anugerah Terindah has received a very positive response from the public. This enthusiasm is reflected in Annisa's social media achievements, which have reached 4.2 million viewers, with reels garnering 1.5 million views and a total of 60.5 thousand interactions. The comments section is also filled with support, including highlights on Annisa's unique way of pronouncing the letter 'R', which has become her distinctive characteristic.

4. Prepare Works to Welcome Ramadan 2026

Although she now lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and is used to using English in her daily life, Annisa still emphasizes the importance of loving the Indonesian language. For her, language is a part of identity that should not be abandoned.

In addition to singing, Annisa is also active as a catwalk model and has appeared in various international fashion events such as the Bangkok Kids International Fashion Show 2024 and 2025, Malaysia Kids Fashion Show 2025, Indonesia Fashion Parade 2025, Indonesia Fashion Runway 2025, and the Paris Fashion Show in France in October 2025. In the future, Annisa is scheduled to perform at the Taiwan Fashion Show in January 2026.
