On Tuesday (12/11/2025), Minji, Hanni, and Danielle made an official statement through Yonhap News. "We have discussed very carefully and decided to return to ADOR," they said.

The three of them also explained the reason for the slightly delayed announcement. "One member is currently in Antarctica, which has caused some communication issues. Since ADOR has not yet responded, we decided to announce it separately. We will continue to greet fans with sincere music and performances."

In response, ADOR provided a brief statement, "We are currently confirming the sincerity of Minji, Hanni, and Danielle's intention to return."

Previously, ADOR also announced that Haerin and Hyein had already expressed their willingness to continue activities with the agency. The two members decided to respect the court's decision and continue their contracts after lengthy discussions with their families and ADOR.

For those who have followed the journey of this case from the beginning, the turmoil between NewJeans and ADOR began when the members requested that the former CEO of ADOR, Min Hee Jin, be reinstated after he was dismissed due to a conflict with HYBE. The request was denied, and the members accused ADOR of breaching the contract, which ultimately led to the announcement of the contract termination last November.

In the midst of the ongoing legal process, ADOR apparently continued to prepare for NewJeans' comeback. They even submitted a list of new songs to the court as evidence of their readiness if the members decided to return. After winning the first hearing last month, ADOR stated, "We are ready and waiting to resume activities, including the release of a full album."
