6 Years Suffering from Stroke, The Late Urip Arphan's Child Reveals that His Condition Worsened Before Passing Away

Kapanlagi.com - Senior actor Urip Arphan passed away on Thursday (29/7/2021) and of course, this left a deep sorrow for the family left behind. Now, the deceased's body has been buried at the Kawi Kawi Public Cemetery, Central Jakarta, on Friday (30/7).

After the burial process, Arif, one of the late Urip Arphan's children, revealed the condition of his father before passing away. He said that the late Urip Arphan had been suffering from stroke for six years.

During his illness, Arif also mentioned that his father's condition was fluctuating. Various treatments had also been carried out for his father's recovery. 

"Babeh has been suffering from stroke for about six years. It's been up and down. I even tried acupuncture therapy to make him healthy. We tried various treatments so that he could walk," said Arif.

Arif continued, since suffering a stroke, Urip Arphan has hardly ever left his bed. He does everything, like eating and even going to the bathroom, on the bed. 

And during that time, Arif, his son, helped with all of Urip Arphan's daily needs throughout his life.

"I haven't been able to walk for two weeks. So, I really eat, sleep, and relieve myself in one place. I'm the one who carries him, cleans him, and bathes him all this time. We sleep together every day. (Speaking) Still fluent," he said.

2. Thank You

Representing his late father, Arif expressed his gratitude, especially to senior actor H. Deddy Mizwar and other colleagues, for their help and support in Urip Arphan's recovery, despite fate saying otherwise.

"One thing I want to say, thank you. Thank you to Mr. H Deddy Mizwar for helping our family. And thank you to friends, artists, actors, comedians, and other artists for giving us support. Basically, I can only say thank you," he explained.

"Yes, from Paski, Parfi, LKB, they have been very helpful, thank God, many people love him. We also feel their love," he added.
