"This digital era leaves a significant mark, it can't just disappear; the digital footprint will always be there. That's why I ultimately responded to this more seriously so that there won't be any more incidents like this in the future. This has also become a lesson for me to be more careful moving forward," said Abidzar in the Buncit area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (13/4/2025).
This decision certainly involves the blessing of his mother, considering that the target of the comments is Umi Pipik. Abidzar revealed that his mother left the decision entirely up to him.
"Alhamdulillah, Umi has entrusted this decision to me, because as a child, when you see your mother being ridiculed and insulted, it's impossible for the child to stay silent, and Umi can't possibly forbid it," Abidzar expressed.
Not only the blessing, Abidzar also received support from his mother. According to him, Umi Pipik respects the decision that has been discussed together.
"If this is indeed the best agreement that we have discussed and this is the best decision, then why not. Umi supports it. Of course, Umi can't accept it, Umi definitely can't show it to all friends because she has to maintain her image, of course," he said.
Abidzar emphasized that he is not joking in taking this legal step. He feels a great responsibility as a child to uphold his mother's good name. "I am just a child representing the family, myself, and even representing my mother. I am not joking here," Abidzar asserted.
When asked about his mother's reaction after seeing negative comments from netizens, Abidzar revealed that Umi Pipik is trying to stay strong. His mother chooses to respond to the bad comments with prayer and calmness. "Actually, how to put it, as a mother, she certainly doesn't want to appear sad or hurt. What Umi does is just seek forgiveness, Umi reflects on her heart, asks for forgiveness from Allah, and prays for the safety of those people as well. But again, as a child, I can't just stand by," said Abidzar.
