7 Photos of Indra Bekti Who Is Now Recovering, Grateful to Be Able to Live a Normal Life - Admits to Not Having a Very Packed Schedule

"About the collapse incident, I don’t remember anything at all. It happened in the bathroom where I was broadcasting, on December 28, 2022. Everything has just been told to me by family and friends," said Indra Bekti when met at Abdi Waluyo Hospital, Central Jakarta, on Monday (23/12/2024).

Bekti admitted that he has no memory of the unfortunate incident at all. According to him, this is a form of God's love so that he does not continue to remember that bitter experience. "I don't have any memory of that, maybe this is God's way so that I don't keep remembering that bad incident," he said.

During the recovery period, Indra Bekti often recalled his previous condition through videos recorded by his family. In the videos, he saw himself using a walking aid and interacting with artist friends who visited him in the hospital.

"During the recovery period, I watched videos from my brother and my wife about my condition back then. In the video, I was using a walking aid, chatting with artist friends who visited me in the hospital," he said.

Bekti also shared that according to his wife, he experienced unstable emotions during the recovery period. Nevertheless, he feels very grateful because now he can live his life better. "My wife said that my emotions were fluctuating back then, often getting angry with the kids. But thank God now I can move on and live a better life," said Bekti.

However, Indra Bekti remains selective in accepting jobs. He ensures that his schedule is not too packed so he can still rest and maintain his health.

"There are several activities that have been adjusted. If before my work schedule was super packed, now it is more organized. The management also no longer takes on schedules too late. So, I’m not overworked and can still rest in between activities," he concluded.
