Inul Daratista once again captured attention after sharing moments from her son’s 17th birthday.

Inul admitted that she initially wanted to throw a grand birthday party for Ivander. She even compared it to her child's birthday celebration two years ago, which was a huge event. However, the plan ultimately did not materialize because Ivander refused to be celebrated in a lavish manner. "He doesn’t want to be celebrated by his mom, because last year it was celebrated for 3 days and 3 nights, you know, two years ago," Inul said.

Behind the rejection, Ivander apparently already had other plans to celebrate his birthday. The son was said to want to hold his own event with his friends at a different time. "Because actually he has already planned a party on another date, you know," Inul said.

After knowing her child's wishes, Inul and Adam Suseno finally chose to celebrate Ivander's birthday simply. They took Ivander out to eat together at a restaurant.  "The child was just invited to eat, because we promised to have a party. It turns out he didn't want a party. So this time I just want to take him out to eat and blow out the candles," she said.

At that birthday moment, Inul also conveyed her best wishes for Ivander. She hopes her son is always granted protection and ease in his life.

Inul also hopes that Ivander will always be happy in his life ahead. "May every step you take always be protected by God, may everything be made easy for you, you will always be the little child that mama loves the most.
