Actress Larasati Nugroho was involved in an accident in the Ulujami area, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, early Thursday (30/1/2025). This incident sparked speculation that the accident occurred because she was sleepy.
However, Larasati denied the news and revealed the real cause. Let's find out, if not now, when?
According to Larasati, the accident was caused by a blowout of the left side tire of the car. She explained that the tire had been patched several times before, but still experienced damage which ultimately led to the accident.
"Yes, because the tire burst. Mother Nurma in her statement is also something we are investigating," she explained when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday (4/2/2025). "In the police report at the time of the incident, I clearly wrote that my left car tire burst. Why it could burst, I have checked the tire, it has been punctured several times, but I have patched it. I thought it was safe," added Larasati.
The accident caused Larasati to suffer head injuries. She revealed that she needed several stitches, although she has not undergone further examinations such as a CT scan.
"Stitches, here," she said while pointing to her head. "Two or three, it's all good. I haven't had a CT scan because yesterday I still had to finish my shooting. Today I just finished shooting, I'm taking care of the police so I can handle the insurance," Larasati revealed.
In addition, Larasati ensured that all parties involved in the accident have resolved the issues amicably. She stated that there is no further conflict with the parties involved.
"The point is, both the woman with the cart and the motorcyclist are safe," she said. "They are safe now," she continued while discussing her meeting with the related parties.
However, Larasati admitted that she is still experiencing some complaints in her body. She hopes her condition will improve soon after the recovery process begins. "It seems to be numb, can't feel it, let's just wait. But hopefully, everything will be fine," she added.
