A shocking story comes from Fenita Arie. This celebrity, who always appears cheerful, has just been fighting pneumonia after a fun vacation in Japan! A trip that was supposed to be filled with beautiful memories ended up in intensive care at the hospital. Let's take a peek at her story!
Fenita and her family spent about 7 days vacationing in Japan in early January 2025. This holiday with her husband and children initially went smoothly, full of laughter and joy. However, unexpectedly, their return to Indonesia was marked by a significant health challenge.
After returning from Japan on January 10, 2025, Fenita began to experience a severe cough that wouldn't go away, even after taking medication. The worsening cough and heavy breathing forced her to see a doctor. The diagnosis was shocking: Pneumonia!
Fenita had to undergo a three-day hospital stay. X-ray examinations showed her lungs were somewhat cloudy. After three days of treatment, her cough subsided. However, blood tests revealed that her hemoglobin levels were low, so she needed a blood transfusion before being allowed to go home.
Unfortunately, after returning home, her cough returned, even worse than before! Chest tightness accompanied it. Fenita went back to the hospital, this time to a different one. The doctor recommended another hospitalization, considering her history of asthma. However, due to the long queue, Fenita opted for outpatient treatment, regularly undergoing physiotherapy.
This treatment journey is not easy. Fenita has to go back and forth to the hospital for physiotherapy. She also consulted with the doctor again because her cough wouldn't stop and was getting worse. This condition certainly takes a toll on her energy and mind.
During her treatment, Fenita underwent various medical procedures, including hospitalization (twice!), chest X-rays, blood tests, blood transfusions, and physiotherapy. She also received antiviral medication, similar to what was used during the COVID-19 pandemic. All of this was done for her recovery.
