7 Photos of Mischa Chandrawinata Making Ramadan a Moment to Learn Tolerance on Set, Acknowledges Admiration for Colleagues Who Fast

Mischa Chandrawinata stated that the month of Ramadan always provides a unique experience for him, especially while on set. He feels that this blessed month is a moment to learn more about tolerance and respecting differences.

"Ramadan while shooting is different. We think that people who fast are weak, but they are actually stronger than us," Mischa revealed when met on Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, recently. Here are the details.

Mischa admitted that he often admires the spirit of his friends who continue to work hard even while fasting. In fact, he feels their energy is much greater than his own.

“I’m not fasting, I feel weak. Meanwhile, my friends who are fasting are strong. What I find difficult during fasting is not resisting food and drink, but controlling emotional desires. Well, they can hold that back,” he added.

For Mischa, moments like this serve as a reminder of how important it is to respect and support one another. He also feels happy to see his friends remain enthusiastic in carrying out their worship amid the busy shooting schedule.

“If I want to eat, I always ask for permission first. But they say, ‘Just eat here, it’s okay. In fact, we’ll get the reward'," he said.
