"Sissy's 40th birthday @sysiio is very different. There’s no party, no fancy venue—but we celebrate it with something much more meaningful," Rifat wrote on his Instagram.
"I secretly took Sisi to @masjidistiqlal.official, a place she had never visited in her entire life," Rifat continued.
"She said she only wanted to eat with four people, but when her eyes were closed and we arrived at the location… surprise! The whole family was already waiting, a total of 51 people showed up with just 2 hours' notice—and it turns out many were also visiting Istiqlal for the first time," Rifat revealed again.
"The coolest part was that the mosque staff were super helpful in giving us a tour, and we learned a lot about its incredible history and architecture. This mosque is designed to last for 1,000 years into the future, and you can really feel its grandeur," he added.
"Not to mention after we prayed Maghrib together, we ate at @terassultan.official, which surprisingly was super duper delicious and everyone asked for more food to take home, hahahaa," Rifat concluded.
