Shocking news comes from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia. Deddy Corbuzier has officially been appointed as the Special Staff of the Minister of Defense (Stafsus Menhan) on Tuesday (11/2/2025).

This appointment was announced directly by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and shared through various social media. According to Presidential Regulation Number 41 of 2017, the Special Staff of the Minister has the duty to provide advice and considerations in policy according to the Minister's directives.

In his personal Instagram post @sjafrie.sjamsoeddin, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin stated, "On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, I appointed the special staff of the Minister of Defense and awarded the Satya Lencana Dharma Pertahanan at the Ministry of Defense Office in Jakarta."

As the Special Staff of the Minister of Defense, Deddy will receive significant financial rights. According to applicable regulations, his salary is equivalent to that of an echelon I.b official or a High Leadership Position.

With the adjustment of civil servant salaries in 2025, the basic salary ranges from IDR 3.8 million to IDR 6.3 million per month. Not only that, there is also a Performance Allowance (Tukin) that is astonishing, amounting to around IDR 27.5 million per month.
