7 Portraits of Lolly Returned to Family Without the Presence of Nikita Mirzani, Only Aunt and Lawyer

"So if we, the investigators, coordinate with NM (Nikita Mirzani), then the one who is sent or who picks up and accompanies LM (Laura Meizani), we provide a handover report letter to the legal counsel and the family of LM," said the South Jakarta Metro Police Public Relations, Kompol Nurma Dewi, when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Monday (20/1/2025).

In the process, Nikita Mirzani was not present to pick up her daughter. According to Nurma, the legal representative and aunt of Lolly came to receive the handover. "Yesterday we had to be clear about who was picking up, then we provided it to whom, of course we attached a handover report to the family, that is clear," added Nurma.  

When asked if Lolly refused to meet with Nikita Mirzani, Nurma emphasized that this is still part of the investigation. "That's the issue, the investigators are delving into the case clearly," she said.  

This transfer process went smoothly without significant obstacles. Nurma explained that Lolly was cooperative when handed over to the family. "The investigators handed over as it was, there was no coercion from the investigators to the legal representative and her aunt," explained Nurma.  

The decision to hand over Lolly to the family was based on a report from the Polri Hospital, which stated that the psychological support process for Lolly had been completed. After that, the investigator immediately coordinated with Nikita Mirzani as the parent. "From the Polri Hospital, they contacted the investigator that the examination was finished, then the investigator contacted NM as the parent, and the ones who came were the legal counsel and LM's aunt," said Nurma.  

When asked whether Lolly would be taken home or to another place, Nurma stated that it was the family's right. "Yes, that is the right of LM's family," she said briefly. 

Until now, there is no definite information regarding Lolly's residence after the transfer. However, this process is expected to be a first step for Lolly to live a better life under the supervision of the family.
