Dicky revealed that there are fans who are willing to wait in front of his house all day. Even if they fail to meet him, the fans still find unique ways to capture the moment.
"For example, when I was livestreaming, someone commented, 'Bro, I used to stand in front of your house all day waiting for you to come home in Bandung, but you weren't there, so I ended up taking a photo with the laundry,'" he reminisced with a laugh when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Monday (10/2/2025).
A similar experience was also shared by Rangga when he returned to his hometown in Bandung. "Actually, when we went back to Bandung, we wanted to rest and spend quality time with family, but the neighbor's kids who went to school with SM*SHBLAST told everyone our house. So when we got home, everyone was waiting in front of the gate," he recounted.
Not only waiting in front of the gate, some fans even travel long distances just to meet their idol. "Some even intentionally come from Jakarta to Bandung, even staying overnight in front of the house," added Dicky. However, Dicky admitted that he does not feel scared by the fans' behavior. "I'm not scared," he said casually.
However, for Rangga, the experience is quite disruptive to his personal life. "It is disruptive," said Rangga. He described how the situation interferes with his family time.
Dicky explained that home should be a place to rest. "Because that's privacy, our home is for resting with family, so it feels like a meet and greet every day. If we don't meet them, it's sad," he revealed.
Even though the fans' behavior can sometimes be excessive, both Rangga and Dicky still appreciate their dedication. According to Rangga, without loyal fans, SM*SH's career journey would not feel the same.
