The wedding ceremony, held in a mosque and with an all-white theme, took place right after the morning prayer. Alvin successfully recited the marriage vows smoothly.

The process of Alvin and Larissa's marriage was not as smooth as people thought. Apparently, Alvin was initially rejected by the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) because he was only 17 years old. Yes, according to the legal regulations, the minimum age for male prospective spouses is 19 years old.

Because of that, Alvin had to undergo a trial at the Bogor Religious Court. Various questions were asked. Alvin successfully went through the trial and was allowed to get married.

The age difference between Alvin and Larissa is not a problem, but apparently their beliefs are different. Larissa decided to convert to Islam under Alvin's guidance before getting married.

What's also interesting is that the requirement for marriage set by the late Ustaz Arifin Ilham was for Alvin to memorize the entire 30 chapters of the Quran. Alvin was able to fulfill this requirement.
