The soap opera, which is adapted from Marga T's novel, is indeed set in Labuan Bajo. Although the original story of the novel is located in Anyer, Banten, the production team made a breakthrough by shifting it to Labuan Bajo.

This decision was made because they wanted to provide a different atmosphere in the production of the BPB soap opera. Moreover, the government projects Labuan Bajo as a super premium tourist area that is targeted as one of the 'new Bali'.

The soap opera BADAI PASTI BERLALU, among others, stars Stefan William, Michelle Ziudith, Hito Caesar, Teuku Ryan, and Vira Yuniar. Just like the novel version, the love triangle conflict begins with Leo, played by Stefan William, who wants to win Siska's heart (Michelle Ziudith).

Leo's efforts, portrayed as a playboy, are hindered by Helmi, who approaches Siska with a motive of family revenge. The three of them meet in Labuan Bajo.

Sandiaga said that areas relying on tourism for their economy have been severely affected by the pandemic, including Labuan Bajo. The soap opera BADAI PASTI BERLALU helps in the recovery of Labuan Bajo's economy by promoting it through its episodes.

As a super premium tourist area, Labuan Bajo has the potential to recover with tourist visits while still maintaining health protocols. The tourism promotion carried out by the soap opera BADAI PASTI BERLALU will be able to attract domestic tourists to visit the tourist areas in Eastern Indonesia.
