Boy William underwent plastic surgery in South Korea in November 2023. He spent almost a month in the land of ginseng while waiting for the recovery period.
"I stayed in Korea for a month to recover because I had to go back and forth to the doctor and wait for the stitches to be removed and dry," said Boy William at his residence in Serpong, Tangerang, on Wednesday (10/1/2024).

According to this famous presenter, he was surprised when he first saw the shape of his nose after the surgery.
"When I first came out, my nose looked like a swollen monkey from Dufan. It was really ugly. I thought it would instantly look cool. Then they explained that I had to wait for three months, it would keep getting smaller," said Boy William.
Currently, Boy William is waiting for one more month for his nose to look normal.
"Now it's been two months, only one more month to go, and it will be normal. But now it's already okay because I was helped by VIP Skin Center with injections to reduce the swelling, like that," he said.
According to Boy, during the early post-operative period, it was a difficult time to keep his nose as expected.
"At first, I wasn't allowed to touch it. When washing my face, do it slowly. If possible, don't let it hurt or get a flu. I'm afraid it will affect the swelling. That's why I stay inside the hotel. If I get sick now, it's not a problem. Only the first two weeks," he said.
