The wife of the late Ustaz Jefri Al-Buchori (Uje), Pipik Dian Irawati, commonly known as Umi Pipik, seems increasingly serious about pursuing the business world. This indeed has become a source of income for Umi Pipik to support her children.
On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, Umi Pipik launched her own Perfume and Clothing Line brand named UP. Interestingly, one of the products, namely Umi Pipik's perfume, has a unique story behind it. Check out the story below!
When met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, during the UP launch event, Umi Pipik shared that her perfume is a wedding souvenir for Adiba Khanza.
Initially, Umi Pipik kept the leftover perfume of the late Uje, which she then reproduced to be used as souvenirs. Do KLovers want to buy it too?
"This perfume is my promise because at Adiba's wedding, this perfume became a souvenir, a gift from Uje to his child," said Umi Pipik.
"Actually, this perfume is a legacy from the deceased, so I thought of this idea to make it a souvenir," she continued.
After being made into a souvenir, many people liked the scent of the perfume. As a result, Umi Pipik was encouraged to create a perfume with a similar fragrance to that worn by her late husband.
After that, many friends said the perfume is nice, where did you buy it? Finally, we produced it and everyone can enjoy it," he said.
When asked further, Umi Pipik explained that it is not easy to find the right blend so that the scent of UP perfume is similar to the one worn by the late Uje. However, after trying five times, she finally found one that is almost similar.
"When it was blended, it was sent to me first, it seemed not right yet, it took five attempts, and finally, this is it, the aroma is like a blend, not too strong," she concluded.
