8 Portraits of Audrey Vanessa Celebrating World Environment Day at Global Jaya School, Enthusiastically Educating about Environmental Care

Audrey Vanessa, who is Miss Indonesia 2022, took the time to visit Global Jaya School located in South Tangerang. Audrey's visit coincided with World Environment Day on June 5, 2024.

The 24-year-old woman was asked by the school to educate the children, so that they can be more aware of the environment and minimize future damages.

"Today, I am very happy to have the opportunity to meet all the younger siblings and educate them about how we can save the earth from our daily activities," Audrey said after the event.

On stage, Audrey accompanied by presenter Robby Purba introduced small things that have a big impact, such as throwing trash in its place. Moreover, now trash bins have appropriate categories.

"From small steps and earlier we directly demonstrated to our younger siblings by having some trash on the table and we choose to put this trash in the provided place," said Audrey.

The dark-skinned woman also did not expect that young children at school are also able to make recycled clothing. She was amazed by the works shown during the main event, which was a fashion show.

"It was cute to see their fashion show using recycled materials, there were plastic bottles and we can see that it has many benefits instead of being thrown away," said Audrey.

The steps taken by the school in organizing a fashion show with clothing made from recycled materials are considered by Audrey to be very appropriate. Moreover, it can instill in children the love for the environment they live in.

"By introducing this fashion show, children become more aware that these materials can actually be recycled for other purposes," explained Audrey.

"We can see that these children are starting to grow their own awareness by doing this themselves, and when they do the fashion show, they proudly talk about what they are doing and present it from the heart," Audrey concluded.
