The father of singer Jisindo Beaugeste, or better known as Bojes AFI, Widyoko Soemantri, was buried at TPU Pondok Kelapa, East Jakarta, on Friday (13/10/2023). After the funeral procession of his father, the singer from Akademi Fantasi Indosiar (AFI) 2005 shared sweet memories with his father.
What Bojes remembers the most is the sweet memories with his beloved father when he participated in the talent search event AFI in 2005. Bojes admitted that his father and mother fully supported him during the AFI competition.
"Many (memories). Why could I enter AFI at that time because of the support of my parents. Unforgettable memories. Both of my parents were very supportive," said Bojes AFI at TPU Pondok Kelapa, East Jakarta, Friday (13/10/2023).
Not only that, Bojes was also fully supported by his father to enter the Indonesian music industry. Moreover, his father has always passed on his love for singing to his children.
"Especially dad because he passed on the music to Bojes and his siblings. Because dad loves to sing," he recalled.
There was no specific message left by his father during his lifetime. However, Bojes admitted that he was always reminded by his father to be a good person to everyone.
"He (late father) never gave too specific instructions, just always be a good person. Be kind to everyone," said Bojes.
On that occasion, Bojes prayed that his father would be accepted in the best place by God Almighty. He hopes that his late father and mother will both be in Heaven.
"Yes, the prayer is for Papa to have a good ending and be happy with Mama. Together with Mama in heaven," concluded Bojes.
