For the first time in Indonesia, Jakarta Aquarium & Safari (JAQS) presented an extraordinary act 'Singing Underwater' performed by special guest, Imel from the music group Ten 2 Five. This event was held on August 17, 2024, coinciding with the 79th Independence Day celebration. What are the portraits like?
Imel herself admitted that she felt proud to have the honor of singing the song Indonesia Raya underwater during this special moment.
"It is a great pride to have the honor of singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya underwater right on the 79th Independence Day," wrote Imel in her post caption.
Imel then mentioned several parties who have supported her in that historic moment.
"THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY YA!! @jakartaaquarium Shout out to the instructor @difaikhsan and @mariaokta.via who have supported on the D-day!! You guys are awesome. And to all the behind-the-scenes team who have worked well together," continued Imel.
Through her IG Story, Imel also expressed her gratitude to several colleagues who have given her positive appreciation.
Singing underwater is not an easy task. However, Imel proved that it is possible to do so, of course with serious training.
This Imel action is the first performance and will be a pioneer in Indonesia in presenting a unique experience. An experience with traditional activities held on land is now brought to the underwater world, providing a new entertaining challenge.
