Two months after her father's departure, Ira Wibowo continues to remember her first love. She opens up their conversations with the deceased on her phone.
Ira then found one sweet moment when it was her birthday. Apparently, her father deliberately gave her a greeting a day earlier to be the first one to say it.
"When it's my birthday, I thought Papa got the date wrong, turns out it was intentional because he wanted to be the first to say it," she wrote. Ira's father also never hesitated to express his longing.
At other times, Ira's father didn't hesitate to express his pride in his own child. For Ira, her father is indeed an expressive figure. Ira herself always responds to her father's messages with love.
Furthermore, Ira mentioned that her father is a grateful person. The late always expressed gratitude for everything big, such as birthdays, to small things.
"He is always grateful for big things like birthday moments and small things like simply being happy to receive his favorite food or being sent batteries for his hearing aid," Ira wrote.
Ira's father was a veteran fighter. He passed away at the age of 94. Although no longer young, Ira's father continued to be enthusiastic and cheerful throughout his life.
Despite being sad because of her father's passing, Ira also seemed happy because her father passed away peacefully without experiencing any pain.
