All this time, the public has been paying attention to Joe Taslim's international career. Previously, he has been captivating through various acting roles in Indonesian action films.
Not much is known about his personal life. Joe Taslim and Julie Taslim's household can be said to be very harmonious and always peaceful. There has never been any negative gossip circulating.
According to the 37-year-old man, one of the main factors to keep the family away from gossip is the appropriate use of social media.Â
"I have many family photos, but I'm not overdoing it. I don't hide it because it's my life, I think you should know enough, you must know too," said Joe Taslim in Kemang, South Jakarta, Thursday (13/9/2018), as quoted from the Dream website.
Gossip is usually used as a weapon by an artist to increase popularity. But it's different for Joe, who said that it never crossed his mind at all.
"There's really nothing to gossip about. If there is, maybe... God forbid, don't," said the man who has been a member of the Indonesian national judo team from 1997 to 2009.
However, Joe once mentioned how his marriage is not perfect. They have faced many problems. However, as time goes by, they understand each other.
"We are not a couple who never argue. From often, quite often to never. We usually argue only about new issues," he said in 2015.
